United in sorrow and prayer with train collision victims in Poland

President of Poland, Mr. Bronislaw Komorowski announced a national mourning on March 5 and 6 following the tragic accident which happened in Southern Poland in the evening, March 3. It was the worst train disaster in more than 20 years in Poland. At least sixteen persons have died and 57 other of estimated 370 passengers in both trains were injured in a head-on train collision between Szczekociny and Chałupki, (45 miles South-West from Kielce and 52 miles North from Krakow) at 8:57 PM local time, Saturday evening.
