All priests from the parish were celebrating with Fr. Luke Sorys CM who presided and preached homily in Polish.  Concelebrating were Fr. Eugene Kotlinski CM, Pastor , Fr. Boleslaw Potomski CM and retired Msgr Ted Malamowski, who is the resident in the parish.

W Sobotę, 17 kwietnia, 18:30 w kościele Najświętszego Imienia Jezus przy 325 Washington Blvd (róg Pulaski Street), Stamford, CT odprawione zostało nabożeństwo żałobne w intencji ofiar katastrofy lotniczej pod Smoleńskiem oraz Polski.  Żałobną Euaharystię  poprzedził Różaniec za wszystkich poległych w katastrofie.  Mszy św. w intencji zmarłych i Polski przeowdniczył ks. Łukasz Sorys CM, który wygłosił także homilię (po polsku). Koncelebrowali pozostali kapłani pracujący w parafii: ks. Eugeniusz Kotliński CM, proboszcz, ks. Bolesław Potomski CM oraz rezydujący na terenie parafii Msgr Ted Malamowski

5th anniversary of John Paul II’s death was on Good Friday this year. Due to this special day any celebrations were moved to more convenient dates everywhere. John Paul II emigrated to the House of the Father in the eve of Devine Mercy Feast. Thus, youth from Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Stamford, CT prepare a waking prayer service for beatification of Servant of God John Paul II in the parish church at 7:00 PM on Saturday, April 10.

Polish community and other and others as well from all over Connecticut, are warmly invited to join this special common prayer.

We would like to show you both dungeons and Lord’s tombs in the churches of our Province.

Starting with pictures from St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY and Holy Name of Jesus church, Stamford, CT we are going to show you pictures from other churches. Holy Week starts. It is holy time of reflection on last days of Jesus’ life before the Word of the Scriptures had been done. In this special time, March 28 – 31, Lenten Retreat with teachings in Polish will be held in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 4 Pulaski Street, Stamford, CT. Priests from the parish warmly invite you to attend. Special Day of Retreat in English will be held on March 31.

Rekolekcje poprowadzi ks. Dariusz BŁASZCZYK CM, z wiceprowincji św. Cyryla i Metodego, na codzień pracujący jako proboszcz parafii Ivanovichi i Kosovo na Białorusi.

Nauki rekolekcyjne będą głoszone po polsku na wszystkich Mszach św. niedzielnych (polskich), 28 marca.
W tygodniu, nauki będą w poniedziałek, wtorek i srodę o godz. 7:30 PM

We wtorek, dzień spowiedzi św., która jak w całej diecezji Bridgeport, będzie słuchana od godz. 6:00 PM do godz. 9:00 PM

Dodatkowo w środę, 31 marca, ks. Łukasz Sorys CM poprowadzi Wielkopostny Dzień Skupienia w języku angielskim na specjalnym nabożeństwie o godz. 12:15 PM

Retreat in Polish will be lead by Fr. Dariusz Blaszczyk CM from Vice-Province of St. Cyril and Methodius of the Congregation of the Mission. Actually he is pastor of two village parishes in Ivanovichi and Kosovo in Belarus.

Conferences will be preached in Polish during all Polish Sunday Masses, March 28.
Weekdays, ther ewill be special Mass at 7:30 PM Monday through Wednesday.

Tuesday, in whole Diocese of Bridgeport, is the Day of Sacrament of Penance. Confession will be heard from 6:00 PM till 9:00 PM

Additionally, Fr. Luke Sorys CM, invites for Lenten Day of Retreat on Wednesday, March 31.
Special celebration is scheduled at 12:15 PM.
